EHS Trucking was founded by Ed Worley in 1998 in Brownstown, Michigan.  The company originally consisted of one driver and one truck. Ed’s client base appreciation of his dedication and his good service record as an owner-operator led to an expansion of his existing accounts. By 2007, EHS Trucking had grown to a 9 unit company with a reputation for excellent and reliable services.

In early 2008, EHS Trucking migrated from an owner-operator service provider to providing transportation services as a carrier under its own operating authority. During this time, EHS was awarded a large contract with Chrysler LLC, which propelled the company to a greater size and scope. Further growth came after contracts with large automotive companies, such as General Motors, Glovis & Detroit Diesel as well as others.

In order to accommodate the growth, EHS Trucking moved into a new, larger facility in Brownstown in 2015. Currently, EHS’ fleet consists of 170 tractors, 200 drivers, 700 trailers and growing.

The performance and professionalism of the EHS Trucking staff have been recognized with numerous awards from FCA Group (Chrysler) and General Motors. In fact, the company is on the Top 10 list of carriers for the customers it services and was recently recognized by General Motors as the “Best In Class In their Category” for 10 quarters in a row.

Looking into the future, EHS Trucking Enterprises has plans to continue to grow and expand the services in the Great Lakes region with additional contractors, drivers, and tractors.
